I Turned Pine Cones into a Sunset Resin Vase

In this experimental project, I used vibrant epoxy resin colours to create a layered hybrid pine cone vase inspired by the tones of a sunset. I cast the piece using deep pour epoxy resin, combining different mica powders and resin dye pastes to achieve rich colour depth and separation. Once fully cured, the blank was shaped on the woodturning lathe and finished with multiple layers of clear gloss lacquer for a smooth, high-gloss result.
