I Trapped a Dragon Inside Resin… THIS Is What Happened

Witness the enchanting process of woodturning as I create a mesmerizing hybrid dragon egg. This unique piece features a small 3D-printed dragon cast inside crystal-clear resin, bringing the design to life.
For the base, I used my favourite Australian mallee burl wood, paired with deep-pour epoxy resin subtly tinted with red dye to add depth and warmth.
Once turned on the lathe, the piece was finished with multiple layers of lacquer, creating a flawless high-gloss shine that truly makes the dragon egg stand out.
