I Mixed Pinecones with Blue and Silver Resin… This Happened

In this video, I create a truly one-of-a-kind pinecone vase using epoxy resin. Featuring deep, rich blues and shimmering silver tones, the swirling colours beautifully showcase the natural pinecones suspended within the resin.
Once the casting was complete, I turned the piece on my woodturning lathe, carefully shaping it before finishing it with a clear gloss lacquer for a stunning high-gloss shine and long-lasting protection.
To make the piece both practical and decorative, I designed it to hold a removable glass insert—perfect for use as a real vase or as a striking standalone display piece.
