In this video, I transform a recycled teak root into a breath-taking hybrid wood and resin art vase. Using deep pour epoxy resin infused with rich green pigments, I bring out the natural beauty of the wood while creating a vivid, glass-like contrast that makes this piece truly one-of-a-kind.
Each vase is hand-turned on the wood lathe, carefully shaped, sanded, and finished with multiple layers of high-gloss lacquer to enhance the colours, highlight the intricate grain, and ensure lasting durability.
